The first thing to do is to determine the purpose of your video and define your target audience. Who is going to see it and what do you want them to come away with? What's the message you're trying to convey. Then plan how you're going to distribute your video. Develop a strategy for getting people to see it. Some possibilities: Upload to Youtube for a worldwide audience through your website; distribution at a trade show; offer through print, TV or radio advertising; sales force delivers it ahead of or during sales presentation.   How long does it take to make a video? This really depends on what you're trying to do. A local TV commercial can be shot in half a day. A giant Hollywood movie can take up to a year. Your project will probably fall somewhere in between. The more locations and people and scenes you have, the more time it will take.   I need to transfer copies of my VHS tapes onto DVD We can do VHS to DVD transfers. Bear in mind that the larger the number of copies, the lower the per unit price. We also offer a variety of packaging and printing options.   I need to get some 8mm film transferred to video. Can you do that? We don't have the capability to transfer celluloid onto video. If you call our offices we'll be happy to refer you to a trusted source.   I'm getting married next year and I'm looking for a video company. Do you do weddings? Our specialty is corporate video. We do some special events, but we leave the weddings to those who specialize in that kind of production. If you call our offices, we'll be happy to give you some names of reputable wedding videographers that we know.   I have some photographs that I'd like to put into a "slide-show" type presentation for my parent's wedding anniversary. Can you do that? They're called photo montages and we've done quite a few of them. You supply the photos and we'll take care of the rest. We add music and special motion effects such as pans and zooms to give more interest to otherwise static photos.   I'm in the Bryan-College Station area -- do you work outside of Houston? We'll go wherever the work is. We do charge travel time at $25/hour and $.60/mile.   Do you work with non-profits? We've done quite a bit of work with non-profits.
