of video industry professionals, Star Digital Studios continues operating in the spirit of Sherry Carter, its founder, who passed away on October 15, 2011. 

Sherry Carter had over 15 years of practical video production experience. A native Texan, she grew up in the Houston area, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin where she was on the Dean's List, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Radio-TV-Film.

Writing: She was a finalist in the America's Best screenwriting competition with her script, "Amazing Grace." Her short story "The Euclidean Woman" was published in a regional literary magazine and she's also been published in The Fort Bend/Southwest Star and the Fort Bend Business Journal. She's written scripts for dozens of local TV commercials and several promotional videos.

Production: As Program Director for a local cable access channel, Carter was responsible for overseeing production of over 3,000 hours of local television programming.

Star Digital Studios is a continuing memorialization of Sherry Carter and reflective of the quality work she produced. May she rest in peace.
